(a) Commencing January 1, 2010, there is hereby levied and imposed upon every household and business in the City, a recycling fee of ten cents ($0.10) per month.
(b) The recycling fee levied under division (a) and (d) shall be collected by the Finance Director through inclusion on the water/sewer bill of each household and business in the City.
(c) (1) Commencing January 1, 2022, there is hereby levied and imposed a fee for tires recycled by the City, in accordance with the following schedule:
Passenger car and light truck tires (maximum of 8 tires per visit) | $5.00 per tire |
(2) Commencing January 1, 2022, there shall be an additional charge of nine dollars ($9.00) per tire for any tire recycled while still on its rim.
(3) Commencing January 1, 2022, only passenger car and light truck tires will be accepted for recycling.
(d) Commencing on February 1, 2015, there is hereby levied and imposed upon every household and business in the City, an additional recycling fee of ten cents ($.10) per month for maintenance of the compost facility.
