In case of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, in the doing of any work, the approval of the description thereof shall be nullified by the City and notice thereof shall at once be given to the licensee having charge of the work and doing the same and the owner of the building or his agent, and thereupon all work under such description shall immediately cease and work thereunder shall not be resumed until such descriptions have been reapproved by the Building Inspector.
