Pursuant to Section 4.06 of the City Charter there is hereby adopted by the City, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location, maintenance of and additions to buildings and structures, that certain building code known as the Ohio Administrative Code 4101:08 - Residential Code of Ohio, as promulgated by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this chapter takes effect the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the construction of one- and two-family residential buildings within the City.
