1155.06   PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED USES.
   (a)   Permitted Uses. A building or lot within the I-2 District may be used for only the following purposes:
      (1)   Any use permitted in the I-1 District;
      (2)   Any manufacturing assembly or extracting process not otherwise prohibited or not otherwise limited herein; and
      (3)   Accessory buildings, structures and uses, provided that such uses shall not be located in any required yard.
   (b)   Conditional Uses. Subject to the approval of the Building and Zoning Board of Appeals and Council, a building or lot within an I-2 District may be used for the following uses and purposes:
      (1)   Retail sales.
   (c)   Compliance with the State Environmental Protection Agency with respect to discharges into the atmosphere and into any drainage system shall be a requirement for any general industry, and evidence of application to the Environmental Protection Agency for its permits shall be required prior to issuance of a zoning certificate.
   (d)   Prohibited uses in the I-2 District are as follows:
      (1)   Fertilizer manufacture and animal rendering;
      (2)   Stockyards;
      (3)   Petroleum refineries;
      (4)   Nuclear power plants;
      (5)   Paper mills;
      (6)   Hay mills;
      (7)   Solid waste landfills, incinerators and/or disposal sites.
