SECTION 8.05 DUTIES OF PERSONNEL APPEALS BOARD.
   The Personnel Appeals Board hears appeals whenever any officer or employee in the competitive service feels aggrieved by any action of the Personnel Director or is suspended, reduced or removed and requests such hearing. The Board shall have power to make its own procedural rules; to contract, consistent with the ordinance calling it into session; and to subpoena witnesses and require the production of records. The Law Director will attend each organizational meeting and instruct the Board in its duties in each particular case.
