(a) A water supply serving all lots in any subdivision shall be required.
(b) Where a public water supply is available as determined by the City, every lot in the subdivision shall be provided with a connection thereto.
(c) Where a public water supply is not available as determined by the City, the subdivider shall be required to construct wells or another private system subject to approval by the City or County agency having jurisdiction.
(d) Fire hydrants shall be installed in all subdivisions at all street intersections and generally range from 350 to 500 feet, depending on the area being served.
(e) Materials and specifications for the design and construction of water supplies and fire hydrants as required by this section shall be in conformity with current specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer.
