751.03   DRIVER’S LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE.
   No person shall engage in the occupation of driving taxicabs, automobiles or other vehicles for hire, for the purpose of transporting persons, except public buses operated under franchise, without first obtaining an license therefor from the City and paying an annual fee therefor of fifteen dollars ($15.00). The fee shall cover the issuance of a license button or badge, a photograph of the applicant and a reproduction of the applicant’s fingerprints. The photograph and fingerprints shall be taken by the City. The license button or badge shall be worn by the driver on his or her hat or coat in such a manner as to be plainly visible. The photograph shall be conspicuously displayed in the vehicle. No licensee shall fail to comply with the provisions of this chapter as well as the relevant provisions of the Traffic Code.
