§ 50.030 INITIAL DEPOSIT; PURPOSE, AMOUNT AND WHEN PAYABLE.
   (A)   Prior to turning on the water supply from a town water main to any premises connected therewith, the owner or occupant of the premises shall deposit with the Town Treasurer a sum estimated to be the average of the tenant’s expected water bill for a period of 2 months or for residential premises, $10, or for business premises $25, whichever is greater in either case. This deposit shall be chargeable for the person's water and sewer service bills that may become delinquent, and for any repairs to town water meters or town sewer and water installations for which he or she may be responsible; and should the amount of the deposit at any time fall below the minimum amount as above stated, the person shall, upon notice from the Town Treasurer, deposit the amount as may be necessary to restore the deposit to its required minimum balance.

   (B)   A connection fee of $10 and deposit of $30 are required. The $30 deposit is refundable when a water customer moves if the customer has no unpaid balance.
   (C)   Companies that wish to use town water must fill up at 1 central location, namely the water plant, once the necessary equipment is in place. This will be by August 1, 1989.
