(A) The Chairperson shall preside at all regular and special meetings of the Bureau. He or she shall appoint committees, when necessary, sign contracts and instruments of the Bureau as authorized by the Bureau, and shall perform other duties as may be specified by these bylaws.
(B) The Vice-Chairperson shall perform duties as the Bureau or the Chairperson may assign. In the absence of the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson shall preside at the meetings of the Bureau and perform other duties and responsibilities of the Chairperson.
(C) The Wilkesboro Town Manager’s designee shall perform this duty and others as assigned by the Bureau.
(D) The Treasurer shall review and approve or disapprove expenditures and orders for disbursement of funds. The books of the Bureau shall have a certified audit at the end of each fiscal year by a CPA. The Treasurer shall work with the Chairperson to carry the financial policies adopted by the Bureau. The Treasurer shall report to the Bureau at each regular meeting.
