(A) This Board shall be known as the Wilkesboro Tourism Development, Convention and Visitors Bureau.
(B) The Wilkesboro Tourism Development, Convention and Visitors Bureau is organized to promote tourism and conventions and increase visitation to Wilkesboro.
(C) The Tourism Development Bureau was created and is appointed by the Wilkesboro Town Board of Commissioners in accordance with local legislation approved by the North Carolina General Assembly (Session Law 2001-439, Senate Bill 439).
