§ 30.25 TOWN ATTORNEY.
   The Town Attorney shall attend each meeting of the Board of Commissioners; he or she shall prosecute and defend suits for and against the town and for and against town officers acting in their official capacity; he or she shall approve all official bonds as to form; he or she shall approve all draft ordinances as to form, and, at the request of any commissioner, he or she shall approve any draft resolution as to form; he or she shall draft or approve all deeds, contracts and other instruments relating to the business of the town; he or she shall advise the Mayor and Board of Commissioners, and other town officers, as to the legality and legal consequences of proposed courses of action; and, in general, the Town Attorney shall be the legal counselor of the town.
