(A) There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the North Carolina State Building Code Fire Prevention Code, 2002 edition and all appendices thereof, and the whole thereof, of which code not less than 1 copy is now and shall remain on file in the office of the Town Clerk.
(B) The code is hereby adopted and incorporated in this subchapter as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the town.
(C) The code adopted by this section shall be known and may be cited as the Fire Prevention Code.
