§ 111.08 PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED.
   (A)   All employees, working proprietors, or owners in any establishment or place of business, except as hereinafter provided, where alcoholic beverages are sold or dispensed by the drink shall:
      (1)   Have in their immediate possession during their hours of employment an identification document issued by a city, state, or federal government containing their picture, name, age, date of birth, and at least one of the following numbers:
         (a)   Their social security number;
         (b)   Their driver's license number;
         (c)   Their passport number or any other identification number approved by the Chief of Police of the city.
      (2)   Register with the Police Department of the city within 48 hours of commencing employment at or operation of such an establishment. Registration shall be made by tendering a clear and accurate xerox or other exact copy of the picture identification document referred to in subdivision (A)(1) along with the following information:
         (a)   Their place of employment;
         (b)   Their current residence address;
         (c)   Their social security number.
   (B)   No person shall fail to register.
   (C)   No employer, whether a person, firm, or corporation, shall allow any person to be employed unless the employee shall have possession of the identification documents and shall have timely registered, as set forth above.
   (D)   This registration procedure shall not apply to the following:
      (1)   Waiters and waitresses whose primary function is the service of food;
      (2)   Singers or musicians whose primary function is the providing of entertainment;
      (3)   Employees or working proprietors at festivals or similar events lasting less than five days, for which a temporary alcoholic beverage by the drink license had been secured.
      (4)   Employees or working proprietors of a holder of a special private club license if and only if:
         (a)   The special private club license is limited to malt beverages.
         (b)   The use of the special private club license is an accessory use to the principal permit use.
   (E)   No person, employee or otherwise, shall be present in that portion of any establishment or business where liquor or beer by the drink is sold, when the business is closed to the general public, unless the person had previously completed registration with the city under subdivision (A)(2).
