(A) The fee for all licenses provided for herein shall be paid annually, in advance, on or before July 1 of each year; and such licenses shall expire on June 30 of the following year. The fee for such licenses, issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be paid by the person making application therefor, and by no other person.
(B) Licenses, other than the renewal of a preexisting license, issued after July 1 of the license year, shall be reduced in the amount of 1/12 of the total tax for each full month thereafter.
