No ordinance or section thereof shall be revived or amended unless the new ordinance contains the entire ordinance or section revived or amended and the ordinance, section or sections so amended shall be repealed. Each such resolution or ordinance shall be adopted or passed by a separate vote of Council and the "yeas" and "nays" shall be entered on the Council Journal.
