1167.04 YARD LOCATION; ROOF MOUNTING; HEIGHT.
   (a)   No earth station shall be erected in any front or side yard. Earth stations shall maintain rear yard and side yard setback requirements of not less than the height of the earth station, but in no case less than five feet. On corner lots no dish shall be placed closer than twenty feet from the secondary road in the rear yard.
   (b)   Earth stations erected on the roof of any residential building shall be limited in size to thirty-six inches measured diagonally across the dish surface. Earth stations shall be mounted upon the roof of the primary or accessory structure as defined in the Building Code, and shall not be mounted upon appurtenances such as towers, trees, poles or spires. All roof-top dishes shall be located as close as practicable to the center of the roof area or other acceptable location on the roof to provide for the least visibility from the ground area. An earth station shall be able to withstand a wind force of eighty-five miles per hour without the use of supporting guy wires.
   (c)   Erection on commercial, industrial, apartment, hospital, school, church, motel, condominium or other such buildings shall be pursuant to conditional use permit only.
   (d)   No earth station shall be linked physically or electronically to a receiver which is not located on the lot, premises or parcel of land as is the earth station.
   (e)   The maximum height of any ground level earth station structure shall not exceed the diameter by more than eighteen inches.
