1158.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this Residential Building Maintenance Code or any rule or regulation promulgated thereunder or fails to comply therewith or with any written notice or written order issued thereunder or whoever interferes with, obstructs or hinders the Commissioner of Building while attempting to make an inspection at a reasonable hour pursuant to this Code, shall for each and every violation or noncompliance be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months or both. Each day during which such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
