1153.01 CASH DEPOSIT REQUIRED.
   Before any building permit or any other permit relating to the construction, alteration or addition of a building is issued, the applicant for the permit shall deposit with the Building Commissioner, in addition to any other fee or deposit that may be required by any other section, the following cash amounts:
   (a)   For each single-family dwelling house to be constructed, a cash deposit equal to one percent (1%) of the estimated valuation, but not less than three hundred dollars ($300.00).
   (b)   For each multiple-family building to be constructed, a cash deposit equal to one percent (1%) of the estimated valuation, but not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
   (c)   For each commercial or industrial building to be constructed, a cash deposit equal to one percent (1%) of the estimated valuation, but not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).
   (d)   For each residential garage to be constructed, a cash deposit of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
   (e)   For each alteration or addition to a single-dwelling house, multiple-family building, commercial building or industrial building, a cash deposit equal to one percent (1%) of the estimated valuation of the alteration or addition, but not less than three hundred dollars ($300.00) and not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).
   (f)   For the demolition of any building, a cash deposit of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
