1112.08 APPEALS.
   Any contractor whose application for annual renewal of his certificate of registration has been refused by the Building Commissioner or whose certificate of registration or annual renewal thereof has been revoked by the Building Commissioner may appeal the refusal or revocation to the Board of Zoning Appeals. The appeal shall be perfected by giving notice of such appeal to the Building Commissioner by certified mail within ten days of the refusal to renew or receipt of notice of revocation. Upon receipt of the notice, the Building Commissioner shall notify the Board of the appeal in writing at the next regular or special meeting of the Board. The Board shall set the appeal for hearing at the next regular meeting of the Board. Notice of the time and place of the hearing shall be given to the contractor by the Board by certified mail directed to the address appearing on the present application form of the contractor. The notice of the hearing shall inform the contractor that he may appear at the hearing and present evidence to support his appeal. The Board shall hear all parties and witnesses for the contractor and the Building Commissioner and after the hearing shall either affirm, modify or reverse the order of the Building Commissioner by majority vote of the members present. Notice of the decision on the appeal shall be given to the contractor by certified mail directed to the address appearing on the current application of the contractor.
