1112.04 GENERAL CONTRACTOR INFORMATION; BOND; INSURANCE.
   (a)    Each applicant for a certificate of registration as a general contractor shall file with the Building Commissioner a written application which shall state the applicant's name and residence, his business address, his experience in the business in which he intends to engage, and any other information the Building Commissioner may require.
   (b)    The application shall be accompanied by a bond made payable to the City, in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) with sureties to the approval of the Building Commissioner, conditioned that the applicant shall indemnify and save harmless the City and the inhabitants thereof from any and all damages on account of negligence or inadequate or faulty work upon the part of the applicant, his servants or employees, or on account of his or their failure to comply with the regulations of the City and the State relating to the same.
 
   (c)    The applicant shall furnish evidence of liability insurance for bodily injury in the minimum amount of one hundred thousand dollars/three hundred thousand dollars ($100,000/$300,000) and for property damage in the minimum amount of twenty-five thousand dollars/fifty thousand dollars ($25,000/$50,000).
