§ 83.27 REMOVAL OF MATERIALS AND DEBRIS FROM CONSTRUCTION SITES.
   Building contractors and other persons who engage in any building, construction, paving, repair or demolition project or in any other work whereby materials or equipment used in connection with the project or work are placed on or near the site of their activity or whereby dirt from excavations, rubble, debris, trash or other matter accumulates on or near the site of the activity shall, within seven days of completion of the project or work, remove all materials, equipment, dirt, rubble, debris, trash and other matter, and leave each place used or occupied by them during the progress of the project or work carried on by them in a broom-clean condition. These persons shall, during the progress of the work, from time to time as may be required of them by the Superintendent of Public Works, or as may be stipulated in their building permits, remove all accumulations of dirt, rubble, debris, trash and other matter resulting from the project or work, so as to keep the places in a reasonably tidy condition at all times.
