Any resident who finds a dead animal, not his or her own, on his or her premises or on public property shall promptly notify the Mayor or his or her duly authorized representative of its location and type. The Mayor or his or her duly authorized representative shall arrange for collection of the remains of the dead animal. It shall be unlawful to place any dead animal or parts thereof, in a container for collection without the consent of the Mayor or his or her duly authorized representative.
