§ 154.065  ILLUMINATION OF SIGNS.
   (A)   In all R-O, R-2 and O-C Districts the following permitted signs, and no other, may be illuminated:
      (1)   Professional signs of a physician, dentist, magistrate and such other person whose services in an emergency are customarily considered essential to the public health, safety and welfare, provided that the illumination is by white light only;
      (2)   Sign of school, church, hospital, sanitarium, club or other use permitted in the district, provided that the illumination is by white light; and
      (3)   Signs for regulation of traffic, marking of hazards and the like.
   (B)   In all commercial districts illumination of any permitted sign, building or structure shall comply with the following regulations:
      (1)   There shall be no illumination of a flashing, intermittent or moving type;
      (2)   Floodlighting shall be so shielded that the source of light shall not be visible from any point off the lot on which the sign, building or structure is being illuminated thereby; and
      (3)   All light in these districts must be, at its source, white in color, but can be shown through or on colored material.
