(A) The Plan Commission is hereby designated the "department" in accordance with the provisions of IC 36-7-9-2, which department shall administer this chapter and the applicable law.
(B) The Plan Commission, or department, shall select or employ a chief administrative officer who may also be referred to as the enforcement authority, and who also may be referred to as the Building Commissioner, to act on behalf of and for the department.
