§ 51.13 RECOVERY OF PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION COSTS.
   (A)   Public fire costs. Public fire costs are those costs for the production, storage, transmission, sale, delivery, and furnishing of water for public fire protection purposes.
   (B)   Billing. Effective upon the passage and adoption of this section, the water utility shall cease directly billing the town for public fire costs.    (C)   Construction costs. Notwithstanding the change in the recovery of public fire costs, the construction cost of any fire hydrants installed at the request of the town shall continue to be paid for by or on behalf of the town.
   (D)   Adoption. Notice of the adoption of this section and a copy of this section shall be provided by the Clerk-Treasurer to the water utility.
