The town will provide all material and labor necessary for installation of the meters determined appropriate for each residential, commercial and/or industrial customer on service at the time of the passage of this section. However, if any residential, commercial and/or industrial customer desires to hire or provide the labor and material, except the meter, for the installation of the approved meter, the town waterworks will provide the meter.
