Charges billed to customers may be adjusted as follows:
(A) A water and sewer customer requesting an adjustment shall be required to furnish a statement by a licensed plumber stating the nature of the water/sewer problem and a copy of a paid bill, or obtain the approval of the town’s Public Works Director prior to presenting his or her request to the Town Clerk.
(B) The Board shall, in its discretion, adjust water and sewer bills and, in adjusting same, the following formula shall be used: the entire water bill shall be paid, plus the amount of the sewer charges for the corresponding period for the previous year.
