When the Fire Chief deems it necessary that mitigation means must be initiated to contain hazardous material spills, all costs shall be borne by the owner, operator, or other person responsible for the release. In the event of hazardous material spills, the Fire Chief will take responsibility to inform the Finance Office to bill the owner, operator, or other person responsible for the release.
