(A) From and after the passage and approval of this chapter, all garbage, waste, trash and refuse in the city shall be collected regularly by the employees of the city or its duly authorized employees, who shall collect fees as set out in the following schedule:
(1) A fee of $14.75 per month for curbside pickup is hereby levied for each dwelling house or dwelling unit occupied as a residence.
(2) All business and/or commercial customers shall be charged for the collection of garbage and/or trash at the following monthly rates:
Schools, restaurants, grocery stores $47.00 per dumpster (daily service) and convenience stores
Churches and small businesses 33.50 per dumpster (twice weekly)
Bulk pickup/businesses 20.00 no dumpster (as needed)
All other businesses 10.00 no dumpster (as needed)
Apartments 8.00 per unit (twice weekly)
(B) The fees herein provided for shall be payable in advance and shall be billed on the water and sewer bill. The failure to pay the fees herein provided shall be grounds for discontinuing water and sewer service to the customers so failing to pay.
