351.16 PARKING IN MORE THAN ONE SPACE PROHIBITED.
   (a)   No person shall park a vehicle, trailer, semi trailer, pole trailer, or truck in any public parking space where the vehicle, trailer, semi trailer, pole trailer or truck shall not be entirely within a single parking space designated by marked lines. No vehicle, trailer, semi trailer, pole trailer or truck shall occupy more than one parking space designated by marked lines.
   (b)   Not withstanding the prohibition stated in subsection (a) above, the parking of any vehicles referenced in subsection (a) above will not be deemed a violation of this section if any of the following apply:
      (1)   The vehicle, trailer, semi trailer, pole trailer or truck is not parked longer than two hours; or
      (2)   Prior to parking said vehicle, the owner or operator has applied to the Village of West Unity Police Department for a parking permit and been issued a permit covering a period of time in excess of two hours but not exceeding twenty-four hours; or
      (3)   Prior to parking said vehicle the owner or operator has applied to the Council of the Village of West Unity for a parking permit and has been issued a permit for a specific period of time in excess of twenty-four hours.
   (c)   Violation of this section shall constitute a fourth degree misdemeanor with each day of violation constituting a separate offense.
