Cable Television Customer Service Standards
701.01   Standards adopted.

701.01  STANDARDS ADOPTED.
   The Village of West Unity hereby adopts the Customer Service Standards attached to Ordinance 1998-8 as applicable to all providers of cable television service within the Village.

701.02  COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
   Any and all cable television service providers operating within the Village of West Unity shall comply with these Customer Service Standards within ninety days after written notice of their adoption has been given to the provider.

701.03  CONFLICTS.
   The provisions of this chapter shall supersede any inconsistent provisions of any franchise agreements for provision of cable television service.  Specifically these customer service standards are adopted pursuant to Ohio law and Section 632 (47 U.S.C. 552) of the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992 and Federal Communications Commission regulations adopted thereunder.
