A preliminary plat shall be approved or disapproved by the Village Council within 30 days of approval by the Planning Commission and submission to the Village Council.
(a) If the preliminary plat is disapproved, the Village Council shall reduce to writing the reasons for disapproval of said preliminary plat.
(b) The Village Council may continue approval or disapproval action on any preliminary plat as necessary, if in the opinion of the Village Council, additional time is required to gather supplemental information, or in the event that the preliminary plat submission is incomplete.
