Any property owner and/or person violating any provision of this chapter shall be, upon conviction or a plea of guilty, subject to a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). The Village may also seek restitution for the expense of the tree and the time and labor used for replanting. In addition, the person shall replace the trees with a size and species recommended by the Forestry Commission. Each tree affected by noncompliance with this chapter shall constitute a separate violation.
