§ 51.06  SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED.
   (A)   Each of the services described below shall be provided by the contractor on a year-around basis unless otherwise stated.
   (B)   All the following services will be provided to town owned and operated locations, buildings and facilities, including the town park at no charge.
      (1)   Household refuse.
         (a)   Refuse shall be collected, removed and disposed from all units within the town limits of the town as it is now defined, or as it may be changed by the town, from the places and at times herewith specified at least once a week or an may be reasonable directed by the town, all ordinary, non-hazardous household waste as previously defined in § 51.01.
         (b)   In the event that household waste scheduled for collection was not collected, resident shall provide to the town on the date of such failure the following information:
            1.   The addresses affected; and
            2.   The date and time such household waste has been rescheduled for pick-up.
      (2)   Recycling material.
         (a)   Recycling material shall be collected, removed and disposed of from all units within the town limits of the town as it is now defined, or as it may be changed by the town, from the places and at times herewith specified at least bi-weekly or as may be reasonable directed by the town, all ordinary, non-hazardous recycle material as previously defined.
         (b)   In the event that recycled material scheduled for collection was not collected, the resident shall provide to the town on the date of such failure the following information:
            1.   The addresses affected; and
            2.   The date and time such household waste has been rescheduled for pick-up.
      (3)   Large/heavy item pick-up. Large/heavy items pick-up shall be collected, removed and disposed of from all units within the town limits of the town as it is now defined, or as it may be changed by the town, from the places and at times herewith specified as previously set by the contractor and the town as the large/heavy item schedule.
      (4)   Yard waste; fall and spring clean up. The contractor shall collect, remove and dispose of yard waste from all units within the town limits of the town as it is now defined, or as it may be changed by the town, from the places and at times herewith specified at twice a year as designated by the town.
      (5)   Christmas trees. Christmas trees shall be collected, removed and disposed of from all units within the town limits of the town as it is now defined, or as it may be changed by the town, from the places and at times herewith specified at least once as directed by the town.
      (6)   Uniform totes.
         (a)   Uniform totes shall provide uniform totes to units. The refuse totes shall be 96 gallons and a single color with town logo as designated by the town. The recycling totes shall be 96 gallons and two tone in color with town logo as designated by the town. In addition, seniors may be provided with smaller totes  (65 gallon or 35 gallon) at their request and for their convenience. Special requests for smaller totes for other causes may also be requested from the residents and will not be unreasonably denied. No replacement cost for totes due to normal wear and tear.
         (b)   The contractor will maintain and replace all totes as needed. Totes may be placed in a location for pickup as requested by the contractor considering the convenience of the unit but the foremost consideration is the safety of the community and the employees of the contractor. Generally, the totes will be placed on a single side of a road or alley.
Units shall place all the refuse and recycling material in the totes. The contractor will contact unit and notify unit that less than all the refuse or recycle material may be picked up if it is not in the tote.
         (c)   Additional totes may be requested by the resident and any/all extra charges shall be paid for separately by each individual resident for a cost of $3 per tote.
      (7)   Open tops. The contractor shall provide ten open tops annually to the town upon request. The town shall give 30 days’ notice to the contractor for delivery of the open tops. There is no charge for the ten open tops.
      (8)   Recycling drop site. In addition to the recycle tote the contractor will offer a single stream recycle drop site for the convenience of the town. The town will give 30 days’ notice for the contractor to prepare such a site for units to access. The town and contractor shall mutually agree to a site.
