§ 71.11 ELUDING A POLICE OFFICER.
   It shall be unlawful and an offense for any operator of a motor vehicle who has received a visual and/or an audible signal (red light and/or a siren) from a police officer driving a motor vehicle, with insignia showing the same to be an official police, sheriff, or highway patrol car, directing the operator to bring his or her vehicle to a stop, to willfully increase his or her speed or extinguish his or her lights in an attempt to elude such police officer, to willfully attempt, in any other manner, to elude the police officer, or to elude such police officer.
