All permits issued under the provisions of this article shall be in accordance with and shall comply with the building code and the zoning ordinances of the City and no permit shall be issued by the City in violation thereof. The issuance of permits based on construction documents and other data shall not prevent the Building Inspection Department from requiring the corrections of errors in the construction documents, and other data. The Building Inspection Department is also authorized to prevent occupancy or use of a structure which is in violation of this Code or any other ordinance of this municipality. The Building Inspector will direct the Applicant to provide, at the sole cost of the Applicant, any inspection required by the Building Code. Required third party inspection reports shall be prepared and certified by an inspector qualified and authorized by the State Fire Marshal to make such reports.
