(a) The purpose of this article is to provide additional and alternative methods and processes to enforce the Municipal Code provisions regarding exterior sanitation and common nuisances related to property located within the City in a fair, speedy and inexpensive manner, and to improve compliance with such provisions.
(c) This article shall apply to exterior sanitation and common nuisance violations, including, but not limited to:
• Nuisances affecting health or safety;
• Nuisances affecting the quiet enjoyment of neighboring properties;
(1) Sanitation;
(2) Drainage;
(3) Sidewalks in disrepair;
(4) High weeds/grass;
(5) Graffiti;
(6) Exterior garbage accumulation; and
(7) Open storage in residential districts;
(d) All planning, zoning, building and law enforcement officers shall have authority to enforce the provisions of this section and shall be referred to herein collectively as “enforcement officials”. (Ord. 429. Passed 2-21-17.)
