347.06 OUTSIDE STORAGE FACILITY.
   A towing company and/or body shop may maintain an outside storage facility with slgnage that clearly states the name of the company that is visible to the public. Any outside storage facility designed for the control and safekeeping of motor vehicles, must be encircled by a privacy fence of sufficient height (at least eight (8) feet) and material to visually hide contents (minimum standard-Black Windscreen Fence Screen Mesh Privacy Fabric), to deter trespassing and vandalism, with at least one (1) gate for ingress and egress, which shall be kept locked at all times when not in use. The height and material used for fencing must be approved by the Mayor, Code Enforcement Officer, or their designee. The towing company/body shop is responsible to do maintenance on the fencing to keep it in good repair. Outside Storage Facilities must be inspected by the Mayor, Code Enforcement Officer, or their designee every six months. Only vehicles that can be contained within the encircled privacy fencing may be held. Vehicles or any other personal property of excessive size cannot be kept on or towed to the premises nor may an overflow of vehicles/personal property be parked outside the enclosed fenced area or on the street.
