The City recognizes that there may be isolated instances in which a property owner might need to temporarily utilize unimproved areas of his/her front and side yard or back yard for purposes otherwise prohibited by this article. For that reason the provisions of this article shall not apply to the temporary (less than 2 hours) parking a motor vehicle or utility trailer within the yard for purposes of loading and unloading materials or equipment; nor shall it apply to temporary parking of motor vehicles or utility trailers used in conjunction with permitted construction or repair activities on the premises.
