§ 127.12 INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION.
   127.12(A)   Required inspections. During construction activities requiring an engineering permit, the shall perform inspections of various portions of the construction activity. The permit holder shall notify the for all inspections/appointments 48 hours in advance. The permit holder shall forward all required documentation to the .
   127.12(A)(1)   In the event a test or inspection fails, a required party is not present or the appointment requester fails to cancel within one hour of the scheduled inspection, the permit holder shall be charged a fee in accordance with the .
   127.12(A)(2)   The permit holder is responsible for the additional cost of inspections for any construction activities occurring outside normal working hours (5:00 pm to 8:00 am, Monday through Friday) or on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Arrangements for inspections outside normal working hours shall be made a minimum of five days in advance of construction activity. Additional inspections or documentation may be required as determined by the .
   127.12(A)(3)   The following activities outlined in § 127.12(B) through § 127.12(H) require inspections. This list is general in nature and the may require additional activities not outlined in § 127.12(B) through § 127.12(H) to be subject to inspections. A Final Engineering Inspection for all activities shall be required.
   127.12(A)(4)   If approved inspection is not realized within 180 days of the last approved inspection or the date of permit issuance, whichever is later, then the permit shall become null and void in accordance with § 127.10(I)(3).

   127.12(C)   Drainage installation. All bedding, joints and drainage structures are to be inspected prior to backfill.
   127.12(D)    installation. Alignment, depth, width and pedestrian and ramp details, as indicated in the code of ordinances, shall be inspected prior to concrete and asphalt placing. All protruding reinforcing steel and other stakes shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement.
