§ 134.01 INTENT.
   134.01(A)   It is hereby declared as a matter of public policy that the protection, enhancement, and perpetuation of properties of historical, cultural, archaeological, paleontological, aesthetic, and architectural merit are in the interests of the health, prosperity, and welfare of the people of the . Therefore, this Chapter is intended to:
   134.01(B)   Effect and accomplish the protection, enhancement, and perpetuation of , , portions of , groups of , manmade or natural landscape features, works of art, paleontological, and Archeological Resources of sites, and districts which serve as visible reminders of the cultural, social, economic, political, scientific, religious, prehistoric, and architectural heritage;
   134.01(C)   Safeguard the historical, cultural, archaeological, paleontological, and architectural heritage, as embodied and reflected in such individual sites, districts, and archeological or ;
   134.01(D)   Foster civic pride in the accomplishments of the past;
   134.01(E)   Protect and enhance the attraction to visitors and the support and stimulus to the economy by stabilizing and improving property values;
   134.01(F)   Encourage new Buildings and developments that will be harmonious with the existing historic attributes of the ; and
   134.01(G)   Promote the use of individual sites and districts for the education, pleasure, and welfare of the residents of the .
