509.08 LIMITATIONS UPON THE NIGHTTIME TRAVEL OF UNACCOMPANIED MINORS.
   (a)   No minor under the age of eighteen years shall be upon or in the public streets, parks or buildings or places of amusement or entertainment or upon open lands or vacant lots, within this Village, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the same day, except as provided hereinafter in subsection (c) hereof.
   (b)   No minor under the age of sixteen years shall be upon or in the public streets, parks or buildings or places of amusement or entertainment or upon open lands or vacant lots, within this Village, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day, except as provided hereinafter in subsection (c) hereof.
   (c)   The provisions of subsections (a) and (b) hereof shall not apply to minors who are accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or when the minor is upon an emergency errand or is engaged in an otherwise lawful activity under the specific direction or his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of such minor.    
   (d)   No parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of eighteen years shall knowingly permit such minor to be upon or in the public streets, parks or buildings or places of amusement or entertainment or upon lands or vacant lots, within this Village, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the same day; or knowingly permit a minor under the age of sixteen years to be upon or in the public streets, parks or buildings or places of amusement or entertainment or upon lands or vacant lots, within this Village, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day; provided, however, this section shall not apply under those exceptions set out in subsection (c) hereof.
   (e)   Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
