141.11 OVERTIME-EXEMPT EMPLOYEES.
   (a)   Overtime-Exempt Employee Defined. Employees designated as professional, administrative, or executive in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act are exempt from payment of overtime.
   (b)   Hours Worked. Full-time overtime-exempt employees shall work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week/eighty (80) hours per pay. When fulfillment of the duties of the position may result in an excess of hours worked over the required minimum, the employee may, with notification of and authorization by the Mayor, adjust their worked hours to maintain total hours as close to the required hours as possible. This adjustment will be made within the pay period of the potential excess hours when possible, but may be made no later than in the subsequent pay period. (Ord. 2022-09. Passed 3-28-22.)
