(a) No meter shall be set until the final inspection has been made and approved and an application for service has been filed. It is unlawful for anyone to move into a residence until after final Village inspection, approval and acceptance for metering.
(b) Any meter violation shall be considered as tampering with the water system and shall carry the penalty as outlined by law.
(c) No extension, alterations or repairs shall be made to any water pipes or fixtures within public rights of way between meter and main line except by a plumber and with the notification of the Village.
(d) Meters furnished to consumers by the Village upon payment of a service connection charge. The service line connection charge varies in accordance with the size of the meter. A schedule of such charges is available at the Village office.
