856.06 PERMIT REVOCATION; HEARINGS; APPEALS.
   (a)   Permits issued pursuant to this chapter may be revoked by the Mayor after notice and hearing for any of the following causes:
      (1)   Fraud, misrepresentation or any false statement contained in the application for a permit.
      (2)   Fraud, misrepresentation or any false statement made to the Police Department in furnishing the information required by Section 856.03.
      (3)   Any violation of this chapter.
      (4)   Conviction of the permittee of any felony or crime involving moral turpitude.
      (5)   Conducting the soliciting or peddling in an unlawful manner or in such a manner as to constitute a breach of the peace or to be a menace to the health, safety or general welfare of the people of the Village.
      (6)   Conducting the soliciting or peddling by motor bicycles, bicycles, scooters or motorcycles.
   (b)   Notice of the hearing for revocation of a permit shall be given in writing stating the grounds of the complaint and the time and place of the hearing. Such notice shall be mailed, postage prepaid, to the permittee at the address given on the application for the permit, at least five days prior to the date set for the hearing.
   (c)   Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Mayor shall have the right to appeal to the Safety Committee of Council. Such appeal shall be taken by filing with the Clerk-Treasurer a written statement of the grounds for the appeal within fourteen days after notice of the decision by the Mayor has been given. The Safety Committee shall set the time and place for hearing such appeal, and notice of such time and place shall be given by the Clerk-Treasurer in the manner hereinabove provided for giving notice of a hearing for revocation of a permit by the Mayor.
