The stated purpose of this amendment to this code is to provide a fair and efficient enforcement of village vehicular standing, parking, condition of vehicle regulation, and automated traffic law violation(s) and other village regulation violation(s) as may be allowed by law, through an administrative adjudication of violation(s) of village ordinances regulating the standing, parking, condition of vehicles, and automated traffic law violations within the geographic boundaries of the village and a schedule of uniform fines and penalties and authority and procedures for collection of unpaid fines and penalties.
To accomplish the foregoing purpose, sections 11-208.3 and 11-208.6 of the Illinois vehicle code 1 are hereby adopted in their current form and as they may be amended from time to time for adjudication of vehicular regulation and automated traffic law violations to the extent permitted by the Illinois constitution of 1970.
