7-2-4: LICENSE EMBLEMS; MOTORCYCLES, TRAILERS, SEMITRAILERS:
   A.   Issuance Of License Sticker: Upon the issuance of such license for a motor bicycle, motor tricycle, trailers or semitrailers, the Finance Department shall deliver to the applicant therefor a decalcomania sticker license emblem bearing the words "Western Springs", a serial number, the name of the group or class to which such vehicle belongs, and the year for which such license is issued.    B.   Placement Of Sticker: The holder of a license for a motor bicycle, motor tricycle, trailer or semitrailer shall affix such emblem in a conspicuous position upon the front of such motor bicycle or motor tricycle, free from an obstruction to the view of such emblem, and upon the rear end of such trailer or semitrailer, so that the emblem can be easily seen.
   C.   Unlawful Removal Of Sticker: Any person who shall take or remove any such license tag or emblem from any vehicle without the consent of the owner of the vehicle shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in accordance with the provisions of this Code for each offense. Every wrongful removal of a license tag or emblem from any vehicle shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 83-1655, 10-24-1983)
