Unless otherwise further restricted by an ordinance approved by the corporate authorities of the village for a particular liquor license applicant or licensee, the hours of operation shall be as follows:
A. Class A License (Full Service Restaurant With A Service Bar): Under a class A license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor only between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except a licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale alcoholic liquor within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. The hour limitations contained in this subsection may be further restricted by ordinance for any licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
B. Class B License (Full Service Restaurant With A Patron Bar): Under a class B license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor only: between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Mondays through Thursdays; between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Fridays/Saturdays and Saturdays/Sundays (note: the 1:00 A.M. closing time carries over to the next following day); and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be sold, given away or offered for sale within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
C. Class C License (Full Service Restaurant; Beer And Wine Only; No Patron Or Service Bar): Under a class C license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell beer and wine only between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except a licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale beer and wine within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. The hour limitations contained in this subsection may be further restricted by ordinance for any licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
D. Class D License (Limited Service Restaurant; Beer And Wine Only; No Patron Or Service Bar): Under a class D license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell beer and wine only between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except a licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale beer and wine within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. The hour limitations contained in this subsection may be further restricted by ordinance for any licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
E. Class E License (Supermarket): Under a class E license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell or offer for sale within a supermarket only during the time that the sale of groceries is being offered and subject to the following hour limitations which may be further restricted by ordinance for any liquor licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village: only between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays.
Exception: A licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale alcoholic liquor within the licensed premises between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Christmas Eve Day and New Year's Eve Day when those days fall on a Sunday.
F. Class F License (Culinary School; Beer And Wine Only; No Patron Or Service Bar): Under a class F license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell beer and wine only between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. on Sundays. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
G. Class G License (Fine Wine, Premium Spirits, Premium Beer And Gourmet Food Store; Premium Spirits, Premium Beer And Wine Only): Under a class G license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell premium spirits, premium beer and wine between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays.
Exception: A licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale alcoholic liquor within the licensed premises between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Christmas Eve Day and New Year's Eve Day when those days fall on a Sunday.
H. Class H License (Outdoor Liquor Cafe): Under a class H license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell and serve patrons alcoholic beverages in an outdoor cafe during the time that complete meals are being served by the restaurant and the patrons have ordered or are consuming such meals during the following hours:
Regular hours: Between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on Sundays through Thursdays and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays, unless such hours are further restricted in the ordinance creating a class H liquor license or by the local liquor control commissioner. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
Extended hours: Between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays through Thursdays and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, unless such hours are further restricted in the ordinance creating a class H liquor license or by the local liquor control commissioner. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
Prior to the opening times and after the closing times listed above, patrons will not be allowed to occupy the outdoor liquor cafe, except that the outdoor cafe can operate on a daily basis between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M., provided there are no liquor sales, service or consumption of alcoholic beverages. The licensee shall not allow patrons to consume alcoholic beverages in an outdoor cafe outside of the authorized hours of operation.
I. Class I License (Special Events On Property Owned Or Leased By A Not For Profit Organization): Under a class I license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor at an indoor special event within the licensed premises only between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Fridays and Saturdays extending to one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Sundays and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays through Thursdays, except a licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale alcoholic liquor within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
Under a class I license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor at an outdoor special event on the licensed premises only between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and ten thirty o'clock (10:30) P.M. on Sundays through Thursdays and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, unless such hours are further restricted in the ordinance creating a class I liquor license or by the local liquor control commissioner. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays. The licensee shall not allow patrons to consume alcoholic liquor at an outdoor special event on the licensed premises outside of the authorized hours of operation.
The hour limitations contained in this subsection may be further restricted by ordinance for any licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village.
J. Class J License (Special Events Only On Village Owned Property; Beer, Wine And Specialty Drinks Only): Under a class J license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell beer, wine and specialty drinks only between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
K. Class K License (BYOB - Corkage; Beer And Wine Only): Under a class K license, a licensee shall be permitted to allow patrons to consume beer and wine during the time that complete meals are being served by the restaurant and the patrons have ordered or are consuming such meals during the following hours: between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be consumed within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. New Year's Day. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
L. Class L License (Limited Special Event; Tastings Of Beer And Wine And Beer And Wine Package Sales Only): Under a class L license, a licensee shall be permitted to conduct tastings of beer and wine and retail package sales of beer and wine between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) noon and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays, unless such hours are further restricted in the ordinance creating a class L liquor license or by the local liquor control commissioner. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
M. Class M License (Theater License; Beer, Wine And Specialty Drinks Only): Under a class M license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell, offer for sale or give away beer, wine and specialty drinks for consumption within the licensed premises and consumption shall be allowed only during live performance theater or stage events for one hour prior to an event, during intermissions, and for no more than one hour after the conclusion of an event, provided that the foregoing limited time periods for sales and consumption do not exceed the time limitations set forth in the next sentence. Subject to the preceding sentence, a class M licensee shall comply with the following hour limitations which may be further restricted by ordinance for any liquor licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village: between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be sold, given away or offered for sale within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
N. Class N License (Caterer's License): A class N licensee is subject to the following hour limitations, which may be further restricted by ordinance for any liquor licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village: between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be sold, given away or offered for sale within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
O. Class O License: Under a class O license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor only: between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Mondays through Thursdays; between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Fridays/Saturdays and Saturdays/Sundays (note: the one o'clock (1:00) A.M. closing time carries over to the next following day); and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be sold, given away or offered for sale within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day.
P. Class P License: Under a class P license, a licensee shall be permitted to sell beer and wine only between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on weekdays and Saturdays, and between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except a licensee shall be permitted to sell, give away or offer for sale beer and wine within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year's Eve Day and one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day. The hour limitations contained in this subsection may be further restricted by ordinance for any licensee in the discretion of the corporate authorities of the village. Licensees offering a brunch menu may serve alcoholic liquor beginning at nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Mondays through Sundays.
Q. Class Q License: Under a Class Q License, a licensee shall be permitted to sell alcoholic liquor only: between the hours of eleven o’clock (11:00) A.M. and twelve o’clock (12:00) midnight on Mondays through Thursdays; between the hours of eleven o’clock (11:00) A.M. and one o’clock (1:00) A.M. on Fridays/Saturdays and Saturdays/ Sundays (note: the 1:00 A.M. closing time carries over to the next following day); and between the hours of eleven o’clock (11:00) A.M. and eleven o’clock (11:00) P.M. on Sundays, except alcoholic liquor may be sold, given away or offered for sale within the licensed premises between the hours of eleven o’clock (11:00) P.M. on New Year’s Eve Day and one o’clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year’s Day.
