4-1-12: LICENSE TERM; LICENSE FEES; LICENSE FOR PART OF YEAR; PAYMENT:
   A.   License Term: A license hereunder shall be issued for one year from April 1 to March 31 of the succeeding year, unless otherwise suspended or revoked in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. Any license issued after April 1 in any year shall expire on March 31 following the date of issuance. (Ord. 01-2173, 9-24-2001)
   B.   License Fee: The annual fee for a license shall be as set forth in title 3, chapter 3 of this code, payable in advance on or before April 1 of each year. When a licensee receives two (2) or more liquor licenses, the liquor license holder shall be entitled each year to receive one 50-percent discount applied to the more expensive of the annual liquor license fees, unless either of the below exceptions applies to the liquor license holder. Exceptions: The fifty percent (50%) discount does not apply: 1) if the annual fee of one of the two (2) liquor licenses is less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or 2) if one of the liquor licenses is the class E (supermarket) liquor license.    C.   License For Part Of Year: For any annual liquor license provided by this chapter and issued prior to October 1 in any calendar year, the full prescribed annual fee shall be paid. For any such license issued on or after October 1 in any calendar year and expiring on March 31 following, one-half (1/2) the prescribed annual fee shall be paid. For any such license issued on or after January 1 in any calendar year and expiring on March 31 following, one-fourth (1/4) of the prescribed annual fee shall be paid. There shall be no refund for unused portion of an annual license stated herein. (Ord. 08-2496, 6-23-2008)
   D.   Payment: Such license fee shall be paid to the village treasurer. Failure of any licensee to pay the specified license fee on or before the date when such fee is payable shall prevent such licensee from selling alcoholic liquor at retail and the license shall automatically be revoked and the number of authorized licenses of a particular class shall automatically be reduced by one. The local commissioner shall notify, in writing, the village clerk and board of trustees of any revocation of any authorized license within seven (7) days of such occurrence. (Ord. 01-2173, 9-24-2001)
