A. On December 16, 2019, pursuant to the Illinois Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1 et seq.) and the Industrial Jobs Recovery Law (65 ILCS 5/11-74.6-10 et seq.), the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Western Springs established the downtown north tax increment financing district (referred to as the "Downtown North TIF District") for the Village of Western Springs with the adoption of the following ordinances:
1. Western Springs ordinance 19-2989 (designating the Village of Western Springs downtown north tax increment financing district redevelopment project area).
2. Western Springs ordinance 19-2990 (approving the Village of Western Springs downtown north tax increment financing district redevelopment project area redevelopment plan and program).
3. Western Springs ordinance 19-2991 (adopting tax increment financing for the Village of Western Springs downtown north tax increment financing district).
B. Copies of the above-referenced ordinances and the map of the redevelopment project area and the redevelopment project area redevelopment plan and program for the downtown north TIF district are available on the Village's website and from the Village Clerk's Office. (Ord. 19-2992, 12-16-2019)
